The Brief
M Beauty is Mina Kim's solo PMU + lash + brow + wax + piercing + makeup studio inside Sola Salon (Irvine). She'd outgrown a generic Wix template that didn't communicate the breadth of her menu, the price tiers, or the studio's actual aesthetic. Booking lived elsewhere; the website was decoration. Mina also wanted a site that didn't look like every other dark-luxury OC beauty page — light, gold, and clean to match the salon room.
The Approach
A full custom HTML build on Cloudflare Pages — but with a deliberately *light* palette (white / black / gold) instead of the standard HV obsidian, because that's how the studio actually feels in person. Split-screen hero with the studio shot, marquee strip of services, structured price menu by category (PMU / Lash / Brow / Wax / Piercing / Makeup) — every line item visible without a click. Gallery with category filters so prospects can self-segment by what they came for. Studio mosaic, full bilingual EN/KR throughout, contact + booking surfaced at the right scroll moments instead of buried in a footer.
The Result
A site that finally matches the studio room: clean, light, premium, honest about pricing. Mina's testimonial captures it best — she'd been struggling to find a creative direction, and HV came in with a more refined concept than she'd hoped for. The site now closes consultations instead of just listing services.
